Saturday we went back down to Dondaemun, because I heard about this craft store. You know how when I went before and there were all those clothes booths set up. Well that was how this was. I know my pictures are not that clear, but it was row and rows of fabric vendors. And it was very cheap. I got four yards, of 64 inch fabric for 11 dollars. It was almost a bit overwhelming. You would find some material that you wanted to buy, but you were afraid to, because you might find something that you liked better at another booth.
The first floor there was every kind of lace, cord, button, and belt clip that you can imagine. If you can imagine rows and rows set up like this for buttons. I bought 5 belt clips for a dollar.
Unfortunately I only made it to the 1st two floors. I could tell that Geoff and my friends husbands patience were wearing thin. The good news is that Geoff is going to the field on Friday for 2 weeks, and my friend and I are going to take another trip down. That way, we can spend all day.
Yes, that is what you think it is. We finished the day in Yongsan. My friend made her husband get his eye brows waxed, because he was starting to look like a furby. So to help him out Geoff said her would try getting a manicure and pedicure. He really does have pretty finger nails now. I just couldn't resist posting that picture. He said that the manicure and pedicure were okay. He did not like the filing of the nails, and evidently they were to rough when they were massaging his feet and back. I did here them beating on him all the way across the room. Just so you won't think that he is gay for participating in such a girlie activity, there were about 5 other guys getting the same thing done.

On a crafting note, I got all the way through the heel of one sock, and decided I did not like the pattern. I tore it all out and am not starting over with a pattern that I do like. I will post pictures of the tote bags that I make with the fabric I bought when I am finished. Until next time!

Hey Lace. Looks like you found the perfect store. You should open one in Bham when you get back. Tell us about your friend that goes on adventures with you and Geoff. Is she crafty too? I have tried to talk Clay into getting a mani/pedi but he won't. Maybe Geoff will inspire him. He does wax his eyebrows though! I love you and look forward to next post.

Hey Lace. You have got to post your sleep schedule, cause no one knows if you are awake or asleep or on a different schedule other than the 14 hour difference. Just fyi. I love you and looks like you found your store.
Until next time.
Your sis

Hi Lacey and Geoff,

Loved seeing the pictures and hearing of your outings. Good for Geoff for getting pampered. He's so brave to do that--because after all, he IS a soldier (trained to exhibit such bravery). I had a date with a doctor who's a strong Christian. So CUTE! We're supposed to do lunch this week. I hope it works out. Claire and I are hanging out and about to make a smoothie. She assured me that she knows what she's doing. I hope she does, since after all I'm culinarily challenged. I love ya'll. I'll give you a call soon, so we can chat.

Love,
Melissa
