Going Crazy

Yes, that is what it looks like, I got all the way through the heel turn and took the entire thing apart. I just did not like the pattern of the leg part. And then, I forgot and started doing a 2x2 rib pattern on the instep stitches after I started the gusset, so for the 3rd time I started over. When it comes to these crafts I get so anal and crazy. Everything has to be perfect. Here is the yarn after I took the entire sock apart. Maybe someone slipped some crack into my Special K that morning, I don't know.
I know this is not a very clear peicture, but I did just used the 2x2 rib pattern through out this time. I am about to start the heel turn, so I am making great progress.
Geoff just left for a 2 week long exercise in the field. Hopefully since I am almost done with this sock, maybe I will have the pair done by the time he gets home. I am sorry I have not been updating my blog as often. Life is very boring here. I did go back to Dongdaemun, and found row, and rows of yarn. Any kind you can think of. I know that I will be going back soon so I can find some lucious fibers for the October Birthday Swap, and the Chocolate Swap. I can't wait for both.

I did start PWOC this week. That is the miliary ladies bible study. Unfortunately it is in Yongsan, so in order to make it there on time I have to get up at 4:30a.m. on Wed. That is so I can catch the 6:00 bus down there. It is a 2 hour ride. That is why I got so much of that sock done, so fast. Of course I slept most of the way back. That is all I know for now.
