Adjusting
Geoff and I made it back home safe and sound Sunday afternoon. I even got to surprise my sister. I will say that jet lag can be a bear. When I came home for Christmas it took exactly a week to get over. I think I am coming out of it quicker this time because I am not taking naps during the day. I don't know how Angelina Jolie travels from one side of the world to the other non-stop.
We did have a layover in Japan. I was so excited. First thing off the plane we hit the Golden Arches (McDonald's). It was so good. After that I hit a book store in search for Japanese crafting magazines. I found three, and since my i-pod was not working and boredom was sure to set in on our 11 1/2 hour flight, I bought them all. They have some pretty interesting ideas and patterns in them.
I will admit that the ride home from the airport was a little overwhelming. I could read every sign that I saw. Everything I need or want is right at a store just down the street. I would say that American drivers are better than Korean drivers but in some cases that is just not true. Although we do drive slower, there are some pretty crazy drivers out there.
I have started on my Hogwarts Socks, and am so excited. I woke up at 2:30 last night and just started thinking about stuff to put in her package. I would have posted a picture, but I think Geoff let the movers pack the cord that hooks up to my computer. Well, until next time!

Welcome back to home soil. I hope your transistions continue to be smooth!
Welcome back to the US! I've been checking back to see if you've gotten back safe!
Take your time, and get that jet lag out of your system. I know how it goes!
Oh, and Angelina Jolie? She has professionals who take the lag for her! LOL!

Hey Lacey. I'm anxious to hear about Fort Lewis and see pictures! I hope you and Geoff had a good drive.
