Home Again

Last night around 10:30 Geoff and I finished our 4 day journey out west. We drove a grand total of 2685 miles, that does not include all our pit stops. I am so glad to finally be here. Even though it will be a bit longer before we are completely settled, I have a peace that this is home for the next three years. I would like to thank our family and friends for your prayers for safe travels. We really did feel them. I would also like to thank God for keeping us safe, and giving us perfect weather for traveling.

From start to finish we traveled across 9 states and saw some breathe taking views. I did take pictures, but the camera cord is still MIA. It was amazing to see how beautiful our country is. As I sat behind the wheel I thought God really knew what he was doing in those 6 days that he created this place we call home. Of course then my inquisitive mind kicked in and I pondered how he came up with the idea to put mountains here, and water there? I just hope I can remember all these questions I want to ask him when that time comes.

I will have more to write about as we settle into our new life here, so until next time!

Lacey - Welcome home! I hope your husband doesn't have to go to Iraq and if he does, may he be kept safe and sound.
