Out West
I have not disappeared. I have just been enjoying living in a hotel (interpretation; be gone as much a possible, so boredom doesn't set in). We have one more week of hotel living before we move into our new digs. I will have a real house. I am most excited about not having to share my washer and dryer with a barracks full of guys. Here are some pictures from our trip out west (hubby found the camera cord). All the pictures were taken in South Dakota. For all of you who live in South Dakota, you live in a beautiful state.
Can't you just imagine Laura Ingalls running over these rolling hills. All you see for miles and miles are farmlands and rolling green hills.
This is the closest picture I could get of that statue. It was in the middle of no where, and I had to get a fast picture before we passed it.
In the middle of South Dakota was an 1880's town. That's the only thing off that exit. This picture was taken outside of it because we didn't have time to walk through it.
Last but not least, was the town of Wall. Since we entered South Dakota we saw signs for free water in Wall, Wall Drug advertised in Kenya, London and on various news agencies. There was actually a sign for Wall Drug every mile or two. The dinosaur was outside the town, and stands 80 feet high. The town itself was like a little western town with all kinds of souvenirs. I had a wonderful Buffalo burger there. It truly was a lovely trip. I would recommend a trip out west to anyone, for no other reason than to see the vastness of Gods green earth. Until next time!
P.S. I am almost finished with one of my Hogwarts socks. I am going to get to knitting!

Not have to share your washer and dryer is great...I don't have a single laundry nazi in my apartment :). Glad you made it there safely.
Yeah...where is my brain???
It should read...Not having to share.
Hey Lacey. How's it going out there? Do you like it?
Hey Lace. I read about you in Crystal's blog. Too cool that you're in her old house. I thought it was cute when she had pix of it on her blog. Susan's sister, Lisa is moving out there too so I'll get you her email. Love you.
Hi, Nice stuff. I found a cool news widget for our blogs at www.widgetmate.com. Now I can show the latest news on my blog. Worked like a breeze.
Am I correct in assuming you guys have moved back to the states then? If so, welcome home!
YAY for almost being finished with the Hogwarts Socks!
