Owl Landing
My owl landed on Thursday! I was so excited. Thank you so much Heather for my wonderful package. I immediately took it to my neighbors to share it contents.
Here it is. Beautiful yarn in yummy sweettart colors. A decorated folder with sock patterns. Circular needles, I can't wait to try, and some yummy chewy sweettarts. The dog in the picture is Belle, and she belongs to my neighbor.
Here is an up close shot of my Hufflepuff socks. There so light, they are perfect for Washington weather.
I know my family is expecting pictures of our new home, and the area. I am sorry I haven't posted sooner. I have been stuck trying to organize stuff I didn't even know I had. On top of all that Friday my dear hubby took command. Taking command is the best job for a captain in the Army. It was sudden notice, and we have only had 2 weeks to prepare, so we have been a little busy with that as well. Until next time!

Your package is so kewl! I know what you're talking about, with taking command...my husband is a captain in the army, too. be prepared to not see your husband for months at a time :) They get _really_ busy.
I love your package! The decorations on the front are adorable and your socks look like a perfect fit. I just moved from Spanaway down to Vancouver, WA. Good luck with the transition for your husband and for you too. Will you move onto Ft. Lewis? It's so big. My poor pal will have to wait a little longer for her package as I've still not finished her second sock. Cheers!
Yea!! I am glad you like the package! I was so nervous... and knitting socks for feet I have never seen... yikes! I hope you continue to enjoy them. It looks like you are settling in well to your new home since you have already made friends with the neighbors. I wish you the best.
Hey Lacey. What's going on with you?
